It’s wedding season, and with that comes the big dilemma. “What the heck am I going to wear?” If you are like me, you buy a new dress every single time you have a new event to go to. And you end up with a closet FULL of dresses that have only been worn 1 single time.
I decided to look through my closet and come up with 5 different options for outfits to WOW at any Summer Wedding or other cocktail inspired event that you are going to.
Are you like me and have an entire closet full of dresses that have only been worn once? Or do you have a go-to outfit that you wear to all of the cocktail dinners that you attend?
Wild for Animal Print
This outfit brings out my go-to wedding, new year, cocktail event shoes. These are actually super comfortable but because they are black and sparkly, I can only wear them when I am full glam.

It’s Minty Fresh
I bought this bodysuit on a whim, it was super cheap and cute, but I honestly didn’t have anything to pair it with. It also didn’t really fit very well, but I was pleasantly surprised after my on-going Keto journey, that it now fits 🙂 These Valentino shoes, I found at a local consignment shop and I really like that the heel isn’t too high, so you could dance the night away in this outfit.
Bodysuit: Urban Planet
Skirt: Bluenotes

I’m Not Really A Ballerina
This skirt steals the show, I love how it has ballerina vibes and really makes you feel like a princess. This outfit is very basic but pulled together at the same time. This is one of my favourite outfits that I pulled together and it’s ALL because of this skirt. I picked up the skirt for $10 on sale at Bluenotes, which I am shocked because I thought that they just sold jeans!
Bodysuit: Eclipse Clothing
Skirt: Bluenotes
Shoes: Bewild
Purse: Chanel Double Flap in Hot Pink
Flowers for Days
I recently went to a wedding where I needed to be “office appropriate”. It was for a co-worker who is related to the owner of my company. This also meant that there would be customers that I work with attending this wedding. I needed a dress that didn’t show too much, was cocktail-ready and still made me feel good. I love that nothing is really on display in this outfit but its still fun and flirty.
Dress: White House Black Market

Simple Lace Princess
I really like the way that this is simple yet pulled together. The dress was a real steal at $10 but gets a full glam vibe with the nice addition of my favourite Louboutins and Louis Vuitton purse.
