Hello lovelies, thanks so much for stopping by!
Over the years, one of my hobbies while I am travelling for work is shopping. A lot of the time, I enjoy shopping for cosmetics the most!
A few years ago, I was staying near Times Square and decided to go for a walk one night and I stumbled upon Inglot Cosmetics. They have a great little store right near the Broadway TKTS booth.
Immediately, upon walking in, I became enchanted with all of the colours and combinations that you could do. Whatever you heart desires, you can have.
From that day forward, one of my must have stops in NYC is Inglot to buy either a new palette or some other goodies, but they have never disappointed.
Following the other makeup bloggers, I can’t figure out why this brand is barely mentioned, really until their recent Jennifer Lopez collaboration and even that, it isn’t mentioned very often.
In my opinion, this is a very overlooked brand! Here’s a round up of some of my faves from Inglot that you HAVE to try out next time you are near an Inglot store!
Freedom Eyeshadow Palettes
Price: $14.00 CAD for a Shadow, Palettes start at $10.00 CAD
This has to be one of the best ideas out there!
You can choose exactly what colours you want and how many shades that you want in that palette, whether it be 1, 3, 4, 5, or their larger flexi palette. Do you want a magnetic lid to stack palettes? Or a mirror? Do you want to mix blush and eyeshadow? It’s up to you! The possibilities are endless.
What I love so much is that the square eyeshadow pans are MASSIVE! They are about 2.3g of product each for a light matte shadow!
These perform super well, very pigmented and blend like butter!
Livin’ The Highlight Illuminator for Face, Eyes, Body
Price: $29.00 CAD
I recently went to NYC after the launch of the J Lo x Inglot line and makeup artist working there was GLOWING! I asked him what his highlighter was because I had to have it.
This is a loose pigment highlighter and it does not disappoint. A little goes a long way!
What I really love about this is that it is the perfect amount of shimmer, without too much glitter getting in the way!
It comes with a poof inside to help you apply the highlighter, and I’m not too sure who actually uses these. I do not use these, I am not interested in drenching myself with highlighter from head to toe. What I actually like about this poof is that since this is a loose pigment, it holds the product in.
I like to apply this directly from the poof to my face with a brush.
Price: $29.00 CAD
I recently bought this one, because I was frustrated with the Tarte Shape Tape Matte Foundation which was pretty much ruining my trip. And making me look like a dried up lizard.
YSM stands for Young Skin Makeup and this stuff is just WOW! It goes on like skin, makes me look hydrated and not dry. It doesn’t wear off on my oily patches either!
The price for this is also really fantastic, this performs like a much more expensive foundation.
It is a nice creamy, long lasting formula which provides a smooth, natural looking matte finish
HD Lip Tint Matte
Price: $26.00 CAD
Ok, so this is called a lip tint. I am not too sure why, because that is deceiving. It makes you think that this is going to be a little pop of colour. Ya, that is not what this is.
They should call this, super pigmented, stay all day, bomb ass shit!
First, this is super full coverage. And Magic. Yes, I’m serious, MAGIC.
Why, MAGIC? It is transfer proof within 5 minutes of application. I mean zero transfer, not going anywhere. It’s not drying either, it seriously feels like you have nothing on. This is the best matte lip product I have tried, hands on. I’m seriously crying because I only bought one colour.
I can put this on at 9am, and still have colour at 5pm that isn’t half faded and crappy. This is MAGIC. I need every colour. Seriously, need every single colour!
AMC Eyeliner Gel in 77
Price: $22.00 CAD
Alright, so I am not going to lie, this is the one Inglot product that I have heard other beauty influencers talking about!
My only warning about this one is, a little eyeliner can turn into a major wing in no time! It’s easy to get carried away with this product.
It’s super pigmented and creamy, you do not need to go over this again and again. It’s hypoallergenic and waterproof, so it can even last during those crying sessions that we all have.
The packaging is great and the product does not get dried out quickly. By the time it dries out, you probably should have thrown it out long ago, that’s if you don’t use this on the daily!
77 is your classic black and in my option, a must have to any makeup collection!
Have you tried Inglot before? What are your thoughts? Let me know!
